Duane Denison: 'Prepared' guitar / Kettle piezo????

You might remember Duane Denison from Jesus Lizard or Tomahawk, each band with frontmen (Yow/Patton) that claim most of the limelight. However, quietly, behind the scenes Denison plays fantastic arpeggios and avant, weird guitar parts that make the bands above stand apart. In this clip Duane talks about 'Prepared' guitar, and techniques that can be applied to guitar playing in order to provide a different sound/aesthetic.

In other news, Mr. "Fox" Mads Bech Paluszewski-Hau has an orchestra that involved a collection of kettles with specific vocal ranges. These kettles are wired (weird) with piezo transducers, and you can only imagine the sounds they create boiling away, in their own kettle style......
